Yoga comes from the Sanskrit “yuj”, meaning “yoke” or “union”. In yoga, we yoke the breath and movements to bring union of the mind and body. This ancient practice is both spiritual and physical. By learning to combine effort and ease on the mat, we can bring the tools of yoga off of the mat and into our everyday lives. Sheena is qualified to teach both Vinyasa (fast flows and active poses) and Yin (passive poses and meditative atmosphere) yoga styles, to make yoga work for you. Sheena also offers Guided Meditation and Mindfulness on an ongoing basis or in workshop packages.
Private yoga sessions can be held in your home or online. Private sessions are ideal if you are very busy, recovering from an injury (or maintaining a healed injury), if you’d like to work towards a goal or if you just don’t enjoy group classes. Sheena develops personalised flows for each person she works with to give them individualised attention.
Yoga classes can be taught online for you on your own, or you and your work team. Classes are inclusive, open to all levels of experience and customized to suit everyone present. For some, it may their first experience with yoga and sharing the joy of a yoga practice with work peers can be amazing. Start or end the working day feeling rejuvenated and relaxed while you skip the traffic.
Online group classes can be taken in the comfort of your own home, through our shared space in the clouds. These classes are open to all levels and variations of each asana or pose is given. The beauty of learning online is that you can always pause when it suits you and there is no anxiety about entering a studio space.
